Official Rules for Giveaway

  1. Eligibility

This giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of PiACTIVE, Cabela’s Canada, Bass Pro Shops, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

 

  1. Sponsor

The giveaway is sponsored by PiACTIVE, located at 450 Tapscott Rd., Unit 6, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M1B 1Y4, in partnership with Cabela’s, who have generously provided products for this giveaway.

 

  1. Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in the giveaway constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

 

  1. Giveaway Period

The giveaway begins on 08/01/24 and ends on 08/15/24 at 11:59 PM ET.

 

  1. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  2. Follow both @PiACTIVE and @CabelasCanada on Instagram.
  3. Tag a friend in the comments of the giveaway post. Each unique tag counts as a separate entry.

  1. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message within 3 days following the selection. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

 

  1. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the giveaway. In such an event, the Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize at random from the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.

 

  1. Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Cabela’s Canada, Bass Pro Shops, Instagram, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from the entrant’s participation in the giveaway and/or their acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy.

 

  1. Disputes

This giveaway is governed by the laws of Canada without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this giveaway, the entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Canada having jurisdiction.
