Caterpillars can be found almost everywhere from sandy beaches to meadows to mountain forests.
The majority of caterpillars are herbivores, and eat mostly leaves, through some species eat all plant parts, fungi and dead animal matter, including other caterpillars.
Method of Travel:
1. Once the caterpillars emerge little can be done. They can be removed from trees by hand and killed by dropping them into a bucket of soapy water.
